On May 22, 2021, at 10.00 a.m., in the Inter Cars Training Center in Cząstków Polski, the ten finalists of Young Car Mechanic in Poland began their competition.
The organizers have prepared eleven different tasks related to the diagnosis and repair of vehicles for each participant in cooperation with the leading spare parts and service equipmentsuppliers such as: Bosch, Castrol, ContiTech, Elring, Febi, Man + Hummel, Meyle, Motoremo, Schefler, Valeo and ZF Aftermarket. The emotions were high for the two days of contest. We saw slight signs of stress on competitor faces, but also signs of determination to fulfil task requirements. At the end of the first day, virtually anyone could still win.
The competition was reported on an ongoing basis via the website, so that teachers who were away from the competition site could follow the results of their pupils.
The program for teachers during the competition foresaw the visit to the Labaolatorium Intermeko and modern ILS warehouse in Zakroczym as well as a workshop on cooperation between schools of Young Staff Program and Inter Cars S.A.
The competition continued until the last round of tasks. Although all the finalists are winners of YCM2021 the first place was the only one and the winner is Łukasz Pajor from the Automotive Schools in Nowy Sącz who was supported by his teacher Mr Jarosław Adamczyk. Łukasz will represent Poland in the international YCM2021 final. Below is the list of the results:

Finally, Filip Hryniewicki - Inter Cars S.A. Sales Director congratulated all participants on the obtained results.He also thanked the companies that participated in the Polish YCM2021 final and without which this event would not have been so impressive.
